It’s fun to spend a weekend exploring somewhere new. Family trips don’t have to take you far away from home. We found lots to do on our short family camping trip in Wallace, Idaho. Just 45 minutes from home, we enjoyed exploring the historic town, hiking, sightseeing and adventuring.

When we travel to a new city, we enjoy finding a handful of family-friendly activities to do with our kids. Our young children most enjoy half-day activities that include things to see, interactive activities and a spot to eat lunch. Our visit to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science provided a great selection of exhibits for our kids to explore. Highlights of our visit included the Prehistoric Journey dinosaur and fossil exhibit, the life-like wildlife panoramas and the Gems & Minerals exhibit. We also saw an IMAX show about flight and a Planetarium presentation.

The best travel destinations are places for families to make memories, get some exercise and enjoy some good old family fun. Zion National Park is a great place to visit and go on a family hike — even with young kids! We enjoyed exploring the canyon paths, walking in the river and taking in the gorgeous views on all sides.
Few things make many little girls (or moms) more delighted than a tea party. Next time you are in London, don’t miss the opportunity to experience The Arch London’s sumptuous afternoon tea.
One of the trickiest things about traveling with young kids can be finding activities for them to enjoy. After a long day in the car my kids are ready to get out and run or do something fun! We recently visited the Seattle area in Washington state and we stayed near Tukwila’s Family Fun Center. This pacific northwest family travel destination has something for all ages. My younger kids enjoyed the kids rides and climbing on the massive play structure. Family Fun Center activities for older kids and teenagers include laser tag, bowling, the XD Theater Experience with different shows you can choose from, bumper cars, go karts and arcade games!
Our cold weather travels took us to the Seattle area for a few days. We stayed at the Comfort Suites hotel in Tukwila, WA which ended up being a great choice for our family because of the pool, hot breakfast and more!
The holidays are a great time for making family memories and capturing precious moments. I love using my Nikon DSLR Camera and my Android smartphone to take photos and create videos of my family. My camera allows me to capture higher quality photos and my phone is great for spontaneous snapshots especially on the go. I take lots of photos of my kids so it’s equally as important to me to have a way to protect my photos from accidental deletion. Picture Keeper Connect offers a simple way of backing up family photos from a phone and transferring photo files to a tablet or computer!
