Do you struggle with your kids getting up super early in the morning, or even in the middle of the night? OK to Wake is a cute kids' clock that has a light up face that tells your kids when it's ok to get up. You can set the clock to light up at a certain time, and your child can push the night light feature to turn on a gentle glow when it's dark in their room. This OK to Wake clock also has an alarm clock. We are excited to review this cute kids' clock just in time for back to school!
As soon as my daughter transitioned from a crib to a big kid's bed, she started getting out of bed. We worked hard to consistently train her to stay in bed, but we still struggled with helping her know when it was ok to get up in the morning. Countless times I'd tell her to go back to bed, at 4 or 5 in the morning. The OK to Wake clock solves this problem with kids getting up too early, because you can set the clock to light up at a certain time. We set our OK to Wake clock to 8 am, and when the clock face lights up my daughter knows she can get out of bed. My husband and I are night owls, so 8 am is plenty early for us! My daughter thinks it's so novel to have her own clock. She positions it right next to her bed, and enjoys using the night light feature at night, activated with the press of a button.

This kids' clock is child friendly with big buttons and a bright clock face. It has an interchangeable face plate that has a pink flower or green bug character. The clock even has a little animated friendly face with eyes and a mouth. OK to Wake is a great way to start teaching kids how to tell time and maintain a regular routine. It's also great for naptimes, since the OK to Wake light up feature and nap timer can be used for afternoon naps.
OK to Wake has all the button controls hidden in the back of the clock. The parent can set the times for the main clock, OK to Wake clock, nap timer, alarm clock, and determine whether the clock uses a 12 hour or 24 hour time format. Once set, you are good to go, and your kids can easily access the external front buttons on the clock to turn off the alarm, light up the clock face night light, or hit the snooze button. This clock is well made and super lightweight for all the features it offers. Plus the OK to Wake clock is very cute!
This is a great buy for a child's first alarm clock. My daughter loves it and I'm sure your kids will too! Having the light up clock and nap timer is also helpful for kids sharing a room, since older siblings can encourage younger siblings to stay in their beds until the clock lights up.
I hope you enjoy this clock as much as we have! It's great for back to school and getting kids back into their school schedules!
