Are you ready for a new year? After the holidays, I often work on getting my house in order. It’s also fun to stock up on stylish essentials such as buying colorful socks! Here are some of my family’s go-to basics that are helpful year round!
I love the sparkle of the holidays; cheerful twinkle lights, glittery details on holiday decorations and the shimmer of newly fallen snow. Here are some of my favorite gift ideas and DIY activities that are inspired by a bit of sparkle!
One of my favorite things about cold weather is the cozy accessories and back to school gear that we stock up on every year. Backpacks can also double as fashion accessories for kids to tote their toys around in. These trendy fashion picks are fun for a wide range of ages and any girl who loves dressing up and accessorizing.
Our wedding day was colorful, casual and attended by friends and family who knew us best. To celebrate our 10th anniversary milestone we thought it would be fun to re-purpose my wedding dress and take Trash the Dress photos!
Where we live Winter can be a season of “cabin fever” with little ones at home. It takes a lot of effort to bundle them all up just to get outside for half an hour but it is always worth it! I’ve noticed that my kids always come back inside feeling refreshed from getting their energy out and breathing in the fresh air outdoors.
Rainy or snowy days can still be adventurous opportunities to play outside with some extra gear. And if we have to go somewhere, rain and snow gear is essential for staying warm on the go!
My kids love being cozy and new pajamas are an exciting and practical gift. Finn + Emma soft Organic cotton pajamas are a great choice for baby and toddler pajama sets. I love the soft modern patterns and roomy designs that also fit over cloth diapers!
I need basic essentials that help me simplify my morning routine, take care of my skin and at least attempt to style my hair in the midst of 3 kiddos running around. These fancy products are easy to use and can help moms feel a bit more glamorous.
My girls love dresses and they were thrilled to receive some new styles from leleforkids. My girls wear dresses around the house, while playing in the yard, to the library, and of course to play dates with friends. It’s fun to see my girls interested in dressing up and doing their nails, especially with Piggy Paint’s new scented nail polish! Here are some of our latest little girl fashion finds!
It’s almost fall! I love the changing seasons and opportunity to break out cozy weather accessories. A wardrobe change doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. You can achieve a fresh new look, new accessories and even new hair with these budget-friendly tips.
Little girls come with lots of personality, interests and preferences, and heads of tangled hair. My little girls wake up every morning with huge teased bedhead hairdos, so my husband starts the morning routine with brushing out their locks. He’s so funny, one of the things he most looked forward to about having girls was doing their hair, and he faithfully brushes it out every morning while I’m changing the baby’s diaper and picking up clothes off the floor. I actually have hair envy of my oldest daughters hair. It’s perfectly wavy and blond; not too much so it gets tangled, but not stick straight like mine. My daughter’s hair holds curl beautifully. I was excited to try out some new hair products too; the collection of SoCozy curl hair products for little girls.
