Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients: boneless chicken, assortment of chopped veggies, basil, ginger root, rice wine vinegar, fish sauce, sesame oil, and teriyaki sauce.
To make these wraps, pan fry chicken with a sprinkling of garlic and teriyaki sauce until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 165 degrees. Briefly cook a pinch of fresh ginger, chopped bell pepper, onion, grated carrot, and garlic; remove the ingredients from the heat and add the basil to slightly wilt it. We mixed in a dash of rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, fish sauce, and teriyaki sauce to give our wraps an Asian-inspired flavor. Scoop your filling into freshly rinsed lettuce leaves, wrap them up, and enjoy!
