When I found out I was pregnant with my first baby, I most definitely wanted a girl. I thought it would be so fun to experience the years of dress up, hair styling, fun little girl fashion, and girly craft projects. Not only did I get my baby girl, she was blessed with a sister 2 years later. And 14 months after that we had our baby boy. Needless to say, our house is filled with tulle, dress up accessories, and glitter. My daughters don't need any convincing to put on a dress and they love trooping around the house in plastic high heels. I'm pretty much in heaven, and my two girls are THE BEST big sisters to their baby brother. Just last night we discovered that our toddler crawled up the ladder of her sister's top bunk bed and fell fast asleep. ❤ I can't wait to watch these girls grow up together (I didn't have a sister myself), teach them to be kind and generous, and see them blossom into their individual personalities.
I'm excited to share some of my Fall Fashion favorites for little princesses, including a few beautiful dresses from Just Unique Boutique, sparkle pediped shoes, and the newest cloth diaper print release "Kaleidoscope" from Buttons Diapers!
This Trendy Flower Girl periwinkle dress from Just Unique Boutique is a dream! My daughter is the queen of dresses and she is in LOVE with the multi-panel ruffles, flowing material and wide sash. And rhinestones along the bodice?! Yes please! Everything is beautifully stitched and so gorgeous. The rhinestone trim is plastic but seems to be fairly durable. I would probably spot clean this dress to make it last a long time. The chiffon skirt flows delicately and the lovely satin bodice provides great coverage for little girls, so beautiful and elegant and even available in several colors! I know my daughter will wear this dress tons, both to fancy occassions and just to the park!
I also love Just Unique Boutiques' shimmery metallic Jacquard Dress with Organza Overlay. This dress is perfect for formal family events like a wedding or dedication, or for just dressing up for a family night out. It has a muted swirls pattern that looks embroidered, overlaid with flowing white see-through material. The bow on the front is a beautiful detail and the sash ties in the back. I love that these dresses are so modest for little girls with their wide straps and conservative necklines. Each detail is beautifully constructed and this dress is easy to take on and off thanks to the zipper in the back. You can do your little girl's hair first and allow her to step into the dress, and zip it up.
My daughter loves anything that sparkles and she matches perfectly with her little brother's homemade Prince Charming outfit. I just finished sewing the fringe on his epaulettes during nap time. I figured with our two princesses in the house, we had to have a little Prince Charming! I'm going to have a lot of fun making my little guy costumes as he gets older so he can dress up with his sisters. Creative sewing projects are always fun, especially when your kids get excited about them too!
Our DIY Lace Crowns are fairly easy to make with liquid fabric stiffener, Mod Podge, and lace. I love how delicate they look and you can paint them any color. You can also buy a variety of lace designs and widths that will allow you to fully customize your homemade lace crown. I made a small gold crown for these photos; it turned out perfectly!
Princess dresses wouldn't be complete without shoes. pediped offers a wide variety of kids shoes designed to support healthy foot development. My daughter is delighted with her glittery purple shoes that are perfect for wearing with a dress or playing soccer. These shoes are just as durable as sneakers with lots of glitzy detailing! pediped shoes offer both comfort and style and you can't go wrong with so many cute and casual styles for babies, toddlers and big kids.
pediped's Flex Gehrig Purple/Lily shoe comes in EU sizes 24-33. The microfiber suede and sparkle textile upper is lined with braethable mesh and has a flexible rubber sole. I especially love that these glittery purple pediped shoes are so versatile. My daughter can wear them with leggings and a sweater or under one of her gorgeous dresses. The sparkly material and sturdy construction of these pediped kids' shoes allow her to be fashionable and her feet are well protected thanks to these high quality kids' shoes. The velcro fasteners allow my 4-year-old daughter to put these fun kids' shoes on by herself. I love the beautiful detailing and I'm always impressed by the durable stitching and well-made construction of each of the pediped shoes we've owned. My kids have outgrown their shoes before any of their pediped shoes begin to show much wear. Check out pediped's huge selection of kids shoes for your own family!
Everything a little girl needs. A homemade princess crown, cute glittery pediped shoes, dress up fashion dresses, and this cute rose blossom Yummi Pouch cloth snack bag.
Finally, I'm excited to introduce the newest cloth diaper print from Buttons Cloth Diapers, Kaleidoscope! Buttons is known for their high quality all-in-two cloth diapers and seasonal prints. They are constantly releasing something new, keeping cloth diaper stashes fresh and helping families keep diaper trash out of the landfill. I love Kaleidoscope's modern triangle pattern with soft fall hues and best of all, this cute new diaper cover closes with golden snaps! See all Buttons Diapers has to offer, including cloth diaper covers, snap-in inserts, super functional hanging wet bags, and even wool dryer balls!
I hope you enjoyed a peek into my life with my everyday princess and tiny little man! He seems to like his Prince Charming costume. I never have to convince my daughter to dress up and take pictures. ❤
