We keep life pretty low key these days. With 3 little ones, a week can easily fly by just watching the babies and going to the park. We also like to visit Nana's house and see friends. I enjoy life as a stay at home mom, even if it seems very baby saturated and I'm lucky if I'm able to eat a full meal due to all the interruptions. My sister-in-law recently joked that once you finish serving the kids their food, they've already finished eating and need to be wiped, and your own dinner is already cold. Yep. If you're a mom you can probably relate. I know these days won't last forever and will actually fly by pretty quickly, so I'm soaking up the sweet moments with my babies. We mix it up, you should definitely try my Pumpkin Spice smoothie recipe featured below!
I've put together a fall activity kit with 10 fun kids' crafts and activities that we've done with our own family. My fall activity kit includes printables to make stained glass butterflies, colorful dragon puppets, and a recipe for amazing glitter slime + some delicious and educational "5 Senses" snacks!
My handsome boys. ❤
It's finally fall! We are celebrating with delicious pumpkin spice smoothies. Blend together the following ingredients to make these fall-inspired blended snacks. Leave out the spices to make homemade pumpkin baby food!
We mixed together these fall-inspired ingredients in our Nutri Ninja blender, which is such an awesome kitchen appliance for making blended snacks for the whole family. I use our Nutri Ninja at least once a day. My kids love drinking their smoothies from a Yummi Pouch reusable food pouch. I just pour in the smoothie through the top resealable opening and hand the reusable food pouch to my daughters for easy, on the go healthy snacks. Yummi Pouch smoothies are a great way to sneak veggies such as carrots and kale into their berry, banana, and yogurt smoothies.
I hope you love my kids' activity kit featuring 10 fun projects that I've done with my preschooler and toddler. I also snuck in some of my favorite products!
Discovery Boxes are fun themed sensory bins for kids that have a sensory medium such as moldable play sand, dried beans, or non-toxic water beads; accented with gems, ice rocks, tiny palm trees and flowers, and a variety of miniature creatures. Kids can explore and excavate their Discovery Box and practice their motor skills by scooping, digging, and picking up the tiny treasures and decorative accents. Each box also has a scooping tool and magnifying glass so kids can take a closer look.
Piggy Paint nail polish is made from non-toxic ingredients formulated especially for kids. Piggy Paint is enjoyed by celebrities and has even been featured at birthday parties. My girls love the bright Piggy Paint colors and glittery hues, and I love that it's naturally made for little girls' nails and skin.
Re-Play Snack Stacks are perfect for taking dried snacks along with you. These "stacks" can be screwed together as a multi-compartment container allowing for different kids' snacks in the same snack container. I can use the same Snack Stack for each of my two girls and they can each have a half. These cute snack towers are tall and skinny so they easily fit in my purse or diaper bag. Re-Play Snack Stacks also come in a rainbow of colors!
Yummi Pouch reusable food pouches are ideal for taking snacks such as our Pumpkin Spice Smoothie on the go. My kids also enjoy smoothies in a Yummi Pouch at home, allowing me to control spills that can happen from kids using an open cup with a straw. Once my girls got used to drinking from a reusable food pouch, they have no problem drinking from the spout without squeezing it everywhere. Even my two-year-old can easily drink her smoothie from her pouch without creating a mess. As soon as my 9 month old can hold his own Yummi Pouch reusable food pouch, he will be able to feed himself his own baby food, no spoon required! Win!
I hope you enjoy fall with your family! Don't miss checking out our Kids' Fall Activity Kit featuring some fun activities (and printables!) to do with your kids.
I know we are looking forward to jumping in the leaves, mixing up some Pumpkin Coconut Muffins, and sipping homemade apple cider from Nana's very own apple trees. See our Yummy Hot Drinks for Kids! Life taking care of these precious little ones is a good life and I'm enjoying every moment. ❤
