Creative Kid’s Valentine Ideas

Creative Kid’s Valentine Ideas

It’s easy to make cute and inexpensive Valentines with colored paper, glue, glitter and stickers! The design options are endless! Cut a roaring dinosaur out of green paper, a fluttering butterfly, or a clever cat and personalize your Valentines with a child’s name written in glitter glue. Not good at cutting out paper shapes? Print off one of the zillion coloring pages from Google search, place the coloring page on top of your piece of colored paper, and cut around the outline to create any shape you can imagine (or print off) I hope you enjoy our DIY Valentine’s ideas for kids such as these darling hot air balloon heart Valentines!

My kids had lots of fun creating DIY kids’ Valentines with my help. My daughter loves doing pretty much any art, but she also wants to do it well which usually requires some assistance. She loves helping to glue, cut out paper shapes, and paint anything she can get her hands on. We also added packs of Welch’s fruit snacks to our Valentine’s as an extra treat! My kids love fruit snacks as an easy after naps treat. Fruit snacks are a tasty source of Vitamin C and they come in lots of different flavors including Apple Orchard Medley, Strawberry, Tangy Fruits, Concord Grape and more. Welch’s fruit snacks are also heart shaped with cute little emoji faces on them, and you can customize each pack of fruit snacks for Valentine’s Day within the to/from section to write a friend’s name! Moms and Dads love that every pack is made with REAL Fruit, is fat-free, gluten-free, and contains no preservatives.

My kids enjoyed a fun Valentine’s Day crafting project and some yummy fruit snacks at the same time! We also have alot of fun making this DIY mason jar Enchanted Rose craft inspired by Beauty and the Beast. I’m super excited to see the new live action Disney movie coming out March 17th! My girls love prancing around the house as Belle with the Beast’s enchanted rose, although they haven’t quite grasped the concept of the Prince Charming element to most Disney stories. Little girls just like being princesses.

I remember getting handmade construction paper Valentine’s with candy attached. They were always my favorites. I love the idea of the Welch’s Fruit Snacks. So much healthier!

This is such a creative and cute Valentine! You’d have to give you and your child enough lead time to make enough for the whole class.
