My daughter love mangos, and they are pretty healthy for a snack (only has natural sugars). They are also really easy to cut in just a few steps, despite the pit in the center. Mangos are very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. They’re a good source of fiber and Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin C.
To start, cut two halves off the mango on either side of the pit. This will leave you with three pieces.
Cut the halves in a criss-cross design, and bend the half to make the cut mango cubes pop out.
Slice the cubes off into bite-sized pieces, perfect for snacking or adding to a smoothie!
Trim the soft fruit off from around the pit, getting as close to the pit as you can.

- Handful of strawberries
- 1/2 cup sliced pineapple

Green Machine Smoothie
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Handful of blackberries
- 1/2 of an orange (sliced)
