Making sticker jewels is a fun craft project to do with glamorous little girls. You can stick them on your hands, arms, or face or use them in a more practical way to decorate homemade cards, Valentines, and craft projects. You can turn any rhinestones into sticker jewels by adding double-sided adhesive tape to the back of each rhinestone!
Hours can feel like days and days like weeks when you're awaiting a new little bundle of joy. Such has been the case for me this month as our family waited for the arrival of our third child. I tried to make each day fun for myself and my other kids by doing a special activity or project. Here are some of our #12DaysAwaitingBaby projects to make the time go faster and help us enjoy every final moment as a family of four. See more of our projects under the tag, #MyMommyScene.

Most of us love decorating for Christmas but it can be challenging with tiny tots around! You may have replaced dainty Christmas tree ornaments with colorful unbreakable balls, but not all Christmas decor has to go out the window. Here are some child-friendly decorating ideas that can be completed in minutes — kids can even help too!
Placing utensils in a small stocking is a fun way to add a festive touch to your Christmas table. Use monogrammed stockings as favors to mark guests' seats at a dinner party or create a tradition and reuse them every year with your family.
Who would have thought a cake could teach life lessons? But I guess this wasn't just a cake; it was kind of a dessert monstrosity, or at least I went into the project saying so. Decorated and a bit made-over on the outside, propped up and slightly messy on the inside; sounds a bit like myself.
Wondering what to get the mom or dad of your little ones or husband/wife who seem like they have everything? Here are some of our picks for practical and beautiful gifts, guaranteed to make them feel special.

Homemade party pennants are super easy to make and coordinate to match any party theme! I made this cute flag banner in under an hour with just a few supplies; ribbon, cardstock, and patterned scrapbook paper. Once the party is over, you can hang your decorations in a child's room or in the playroom to brighten up an everyday space.

A Tutu Tea Party was the perfect way to celebrate baby sister's first birthday and entertain a gaggle of toddler girls. Coordinating the party also cost very little because I already had the scrapbook paper on hand to make cute paper pennants and I used mostly tulle and paper ware for the other decorative accents.
Decorating for fall doesn't have to break the bank, and if you buy decorations off-season, you can create a little stash of decor to use every year. My pile of decorations took up the whole kitchen island, and I know I didn't spend much on them in past years; shopping clearance racks and using coupons. If you are buying for this year, keep an eye on holiday sales at craft stores and use coupons that apply to your entire purchase. I always check the mobile app for Jo-Ann's or Michael's for coupons I can use, BEFORE I check out.
This doll hair de-tangling tip is ideal for when your little girl decides to adopt a disheveled doll, or for any doll that's had its share of love (and corresponding wear). My daughter came home from a garage sale one weekend with a beautiful Rapunzel doll that unfortunately had very matted hair. We gave her new Barbie and another old doll I had from childhood a hair makeover and we were very happy with the results!

Customizing a furniture piece to fit your space is simple with a little tender loving care and elbow grease. I love finding the perfect furniture piece to fit a space, and then giving it a facelift to match my style. When we moved into a new house, I discovered it was a surprisingly difficult task to functionally fill all the space, especially on a budget. My kitchen area needed a buffet table, so I went to the local ReStore to see what I could find. Sometimes it's hard to see a beat up, discarded piece and envision it beautifully accenting a room, but I felt like this piece had potential.
Every mom and dad of a new baby knows the feeling; all of a sudden in the midst of regular life you are introduced to the vast and often overwhelming world of Babyland and all the choices that come along with it. Should you use cloth diapers or disposable? Breastfeeding or formula? To babywear or not to babywear? I know all about Babyland; I've been entrusted with a baby, a toddler, and a (surprise) baby-on-the-way. After 3 years of being a mom, I'm excited to share with you some of my favorite products that have become must-haves in our house. Most of these items are simple, low-tech, and meet an everyday need; they all make awesome baby shower gifts too!
I went through several rounds of bottle styles and brands before finding my favorite. There are tons of bottles designed to meet different needs. My favorite style has been Philips Avent Natural Bottles. They come in a wide variety of sizes and colors, detailed with flowers, elephants, monkeys and more! Each of these bottle sets are highly rated on Amazon.
The tops are very easy to screw on, they are durable and haven't been damaged by the dishwasher at all after a year of daily use, and I haven't experienced any leaks. I also like how the chubby bottle style is easy for a baby to hold. Overall, a great buy for bottle feeding!
If you decide to go with bottle feeding your baby, a sterilizer is a very easy way to clean all the bottles! I always use a sterilizer for the first few months of bottle feeding, while my baby is building up his immunity. The Wabi Baby Electric Steam Sterilizer heats and sterilizes up to 8 bottles in just 8 to 15 minutes. An auto sensor automatically shuts the machine off when it's done, and it also has a drying feature in intervals of 30, 45, and 60 minutes that will return your bottles ready to use again with just a push of a button. That's all you have to do; pour in the water, load the sterilizer, and push the button. Wabi's sterilizer is a huge time saver, especially when a newborn uses 8+ bottles a day. It's also streamlined and doesn't take up a lot of counter space.
My oldest daughter was the inspiration for Yummi Pouch reusable food pouches. My husband and I created the brand as a reusable way to take fresh baby food on the go. I love making homemade baby food and Yummi Pouches allow me to fill a pouch, put it in the diaper bag, and easily feed my baby without needing extra dishes or spoons. After a few months, a baby can even hold the pouch themselves and enjoy their snack on their own. Yummi Pouches are also great for older children to enjoy yogurt in the car. Simply open the zipper seal, fill with a blended snack, reseal the pouch, and enjoy a portable snack by twisting off the lid and drinking through the spout. Yummi Pouches come in 2.5oz, 6oz, and 10oz sizes.
Even a baby's teeth benefit from being brushed! My little one just got her first two teeth and she's already enjoyed using them on a variety of foods. Baby Buddy's 360 Toothbrush is an innovative way to reach all the tiny teeth in a baby's mouth. My little one likes holding it herself and chomping on the bristles. More than 10,000 microfiber bristles remove 1.8x more plaque than regular toothbrushes and this brush can be used with just water.
Some of my favorite baby products are made by BabySpa. They are all natural, gentle, and smell amazingly! We love the BabySpa Bubble Bath Milk — it makes so many bubbles in the bath! The Nourishing Massage Oil is great for addressing cradle cap and for giving your baby a soothing massage. BabySpa's Moisturizing Body Lotion is a go-to for our family after every bath time. It leaves baby's skin feeling silky smooth and is essential in the colder months! Check out the whole line of BabySpa products on Amazon; you will definitely find some products that will easily become favorites.
My favorite BabySpa product is the Lullaby Pampering Cologne, which is great to freshen up my baby when she's smelling a bit sour from spitting up. I used this baby cologne on my daughter almost every day during her tough 0 to 6 month spit-up stage.
Suki Moon's unique bumper-less crib solution is pretty much amazing. It's so innovative and really keeps a baby's hands and legs from getting too close to the crib slats. Each side is slightly slanted inward by foam borders and the whole thing gets covered up by a soft sheet. I usually put a small cotton liner down to keep the cover clean so I don't have to wash it as much. The Suki Moon Sound Sleep Crib Cushi System is easy to put together and disassemble, and it can be used on a toddler or twin bed too to help keep a toddler from falling out of bed!
Margaux & May Organic Muslin Blankets are functional and stylish. They are great for swaddling, playtime, cuddling, staying cozy in the stroller or car seat, and more! I love the modern prints and large size of these blankets. Plus they are very soft and only get softer with time! My daughter loves clutching a soft blanket and Margaux & May blankets are perfect for playing peek-a-boo and even looping around your neck as a nursing cover. See our full Marguax & May review »
Finally, Buttons Diapers are my favorite brand of cloth diapers. They are designed by my sister-in-law and feature beautiful prints and high quality details. The 2-in-1 system is easy to use and the inserts are interchangeably swap-able with small or large, and daytime or nighttime; all within the same cover. Buttons Diapers grow with your baby and can be used from birth all the way through potty training! See their beautiful range of solids and prints at buttonsdiapers.com.

After seeing these on Pinterest, I was dying to try to make them! They were actually pretty simple once I figured out a system. Chocolate Balloon Bowls will take your party to the next level AND they are so customizable! You can make any range of sizes and fill them with all sorts of gourmet treats; fruit, chocolate mousse, pudding, ice cream and more!
Spice up dinner with easy homemade coconut shrimp! These are perfect as an appetizer or main dish served with rice. You'll be surprised how simple these are to make, and they taste just like the the coconut shrimp served by fancy restaurants!
Kale Chips are easy to make, and a fun use of all that kale from your garden! They are also a great way to get kids to eat kale. You can even season them with salt or a mixture of spices. Kale offers lots of essential nutrients like vitamin A, C and K and copper, potassium, iron, manganese and phosphorus; and when seasoned, it's tasty (and addicting) too!
Throw a mommies' night out with this fun and easy-to-plan chocolate spa night! Your friends will have a blast and it will be perfectly relaxing after a long day running after the kids. We spiced up our spa night with some DIY masks and beauty products. And of course a homemade chocolate bar is the perfect top-off for a night of indulgence.
